Alright, friend—let’s talk fall skin.
The air’s getting crisp, your PSL is back on the menu, and suddenly your face feels a little…meh. That’s because cooler temps and indoor heat gang up on your glow if you’re not paying attention. But don’t panic—I’ve got three easy swaps that’ll keep you dewy, happy, and selfie-ready all season long.
1. Hydration, Hydration, Hydration
Think of your skin like your favorite cozy sweater—it needs extra softness when the air gets dry. Trade your lightweight summer lotion for a creamier moisturizer or layer in a hyaluronic acid serum. And please, for the love of pumpkin pie, grab a good lip balm. (Chapped lips are not a vibe.)
2. Exfoliate, But Don’t Go All Chainsaw
Yes, you still need to exfoliate—but gently. Think enzyme masks or a mild exfoliant a couple times a week. It keeps dull, flaky skin from stealing your glow and makes everything else in your routine work better. The goal: smooth and polished, not sandblasted.
3. SPF Isn’t Seasonal
I know, I know—clouds are out, sun feels weaker. But UV rays do not RSVP to your seasonal plans. Daily SPF is still non-negotiable if you want to keep fine lines and sun damage from creeping in. Bonus: fall is a perfect time to book skin treatments since you’re less likely to be baking outside.
